Microneedling

Microneedling

Microneedling, also called percutaneous collagen induction therapy, is performed using a handheld device, electrically powered, with tiny needles that make precise, controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These “micro-injuries” do not leave scars; instead they work by stimulating the skin to repair itself naturally through a process called dermal remodeling.

This process starts with inflammation, which stimulates the skin to produce new collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin levels in the skin start to decline in our twenties, and continue to reduce as we age. With microneedling, we are helping to improve the body's ability to stimulate new collagen and elastin thus repairing and improving the skins surface.
